Jack Johnson Partners With Charity In Brazil

Jack Johnson and the All At Once Campaign are partnering with Surfrider Brasil for this concerts in Olinda, Brasilia, Florianopolis and Rio de Janeiro.

You can visit their booth at the concerts to learn more about how to get involved in local projects and find out more about the Surf For the Forests campaign. As part of the All At Once matching donation opportunity, you can make a donation to Surfrider Brasil through June 15 and it will be matched by the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation (up to a total of $2500 US).

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. Learn more about the Surfrider Foundation at www.surfrider.org.

Jack was also recently personally thanked by the Ambassador of Japan for his $50,000 donation in the wake of the country’s devastating tsunami, as well as for his involvement in a special celebrity charity concert to help victims.

“On behalf of my country, I would like to express my sincere gratitude in your efforts to help rebuild Japan and assist those affected by the recent earthquake,” wrote Ichiro Fujisaki. “As we face challenges of unprecedented magnitude, it simply means so much for us to have friends around the world standing by our side and I am deeply moved by your message of solidarity and overwhelming support.”
